The primary objective of this initiative is to establish a standardized School Academic and Mental Health Program (SAMHP), aimed at streamlining the delivery process across schools nationwide.
This program is a collaborative effort involving the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Skill India Healthcare Sector Skill Council (HSSC), and the Vidyasagar Institute of Mental Health and Neuro & Allied Sciences (VIMHANS).
Importantly, this project aligns itself closely with the operational guidelines of the "School Health Programme" under AYUSHMAN BHARAT (a joint initiative of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare and the Ministry of Human Resource & Development, Government of India).
